November 5, 2026 — Azamara Cruises has released 85 new cruises for its 2028-29 season. The season runs from October 29, 2028 to May 19, 2029, and Azamara Onward returns to Africa and the Indian Ocean.

The season covers 81 countries and 210 ports, with 94 overnight stays and more than 200 late-night departures. Azamara’s 30 percent Early Booking Bonus applies to all cabin categories. Mike Pawlus of Azamara said the new cruises “reflect what makes Azamara so special.”

What it means for travelers
- Long-haul gateways. Africa, Indian Ocean, Australia and Japan sailings mean long international flights. Allow at least two days before embarkation on long-haul routes, where daily frequencies are low.
- Book flights after embarkation ports are confirmed. Specific embarkation and disembarkation ports for each sailing were not in the report, so check the itinerary before you plan flights.
- Overnights help. With 94 overnight stays, more port calls allow time to see inland sights without rushing back to the ship.
- Rates. The 30 percent Early Booking Bonus is a public offer.
