November 4, 2026 — Costa Cruises has reorganized its commercial team, giving chief commercial officer Francesco Muglia charge of pricing, revenue management, itinerary planning and transportation.

What changed

Effective November 1, 2026, Muglia, senior vice president and chief commercial officer, adds those units to his existing responsibility for global marketing, direct sales and the commercial business units, Cruise Industry News reported. Daniel Caprile, vice president of pricing and revenue management, itinerary and transportation, also takes on onboard revenue and reports to Muglia. Muglia called it “an integrated approach to these key levers.”

What it means for travelers

  • No immediate change to any sailing. Because itinerary planning and transportation now sit with the same team as pricing, watch future Costa itinerary and fly-cruise announcements.
