October 31, 2026 — Global Ports Holding (GPH) has signed a 30-year agreement with the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines to run St. Vincent Cruise Port in Kingstown.

The details

  • The deal follows a memorandum of understanding signed in June 2026. It was signed at the Kingstown Cruise Ship Berth on October 26, 2026.
  • GPH plans to invest in stages in infrastructure, berths for larger ships, the passenger experience and new shore excursions. Timing and costs are TBA.
  • GPH expects to take over port operations in the first quarter of 2027, if the conditions of the agreement are met.
  • The port expects more than 250,000 cruise passengers in the 2026–27 season.
  • No cruise lines were named.

What it means for travelers

  • Nothing changes yet. No changes to cruise calls were announced, and the improvements are planned but not yet built.
