October 31, 2026 — W Las Vegas has reopened Skyfall, its 64th-floor rooftop bar and lounge, after a full redesign by Rockwell Group, and has added a new lobby lounge called Living Room.

What is happening

Skyfall Rooftop Bar & Lounge is back after what the hotel calls a complete architectural and conceptual redesign, with a new cocktail menu and live DJs on weekends. Next to the arrival lobby, the new Living Room lounge is the brand’s signature lobby bar. The changes were reported on October 30, 2026; an exact reopening day was not given.

W Las Vegas is the all-suite tower inside the Mandalay Bay complex on the south Strip. It was THEhotel, then Delano Las Vegas, before MGM Resorts International renamed it W Las Vegas in December 2024 in partnership with Marriott’s W Hotels brand. It has about 1,117 suites and no casino of its own; guests use Mandalay Bay’s.

What it means for travelers

  • Airport: Harry Reid International (LAS) is close to the south end of the Strip, where Mandalay Bay sits, making this one of the quicker Strip hotels to reach after landing.
  • Layover-friendly: The Living Room opens at 2 p.m., so it is an easy stop if you check in early in the afternoon.
  • Points: As a W hotel, the property is part of Marriott’s portfolio.
