What it means for travelers
- Airport: Louis Armstrong New Orleans International (MSY). The announcement does not give a transfer time.
- St. Charles Avenue is on the streetcar line, so getting to the French Quarter and Downtown is easy without a car.
- Mardi Gras planners: the hotel overlooks the parade route, so expect high demand for rooms around Carnival. Book the room early and allow extra days for flights.
- No chain brand affiliation was announced.
