October 16, 2026 — Avista Hideaway Phuket Patong, part of Accor’s MGallery collection, is opening 12 renovated pool villas this month. Each villa has a private pool, and they can be joined into two- or three-bedroom layouts for families or groups.
What is happening
The 150-room hillside resort above Patong Beach in Phuket, Thailand, is unveiling a reworked pool villa wing in October 2026. The resort is an Accor property under the MGallery Collection brand. The announcement did not name the owner.

What it means for travelers
- Getting there: Phuket International Airport (HKT) is about 38 km away. The resort offers VIP airport transfers as an add-on.
- Good for groups: Because the villas connect, families or friends traveling together can share one villa with separate bedrooms.
- Renovation: The work covered the villas only, and they open this month. Nothing in the announcement suggests disruption elsewhere in the resort.
